BLOG: Blog v Wiki

Wiki and Blogs are both forms of convergence in today networked world. These two styles take the information from anyone and allow it to be presented in a organized fashion for easy access of the whom ever the reader is.
The reader then decides his decision on the topic on his own being influenced by his ideals by the comments from tumbler, a blog. However, as the article "Yahoo's Next Problem: Tumblr's Traffic Isn't Growing" says that "that Tumblr, having become part of a faceless corporate colossus, has “lost its cool.” There isn't any new blood that is coming into Tumblr it just the same people who have been using it since the start which can lead to bias comments. Blogs can be used in a collaboration through comments which lead to increased information from different people.
Wiki also function similar to blogs but are more strictly supervised in order to avoid your occasional troll on the web. Wiki as "Information Week - How To Use Wikis For Business" says are good if "You need a central location where shared documents can be viewed and revised by a
large and/or dispersed team." Wiki allow people to put together there own personal research documentation on the topic being discussed. Blogs are for searching for information quickly while wiki are better for a in-dept research.
