For my research topic l will be discussing the positive and negative affects cellphones has had on society. A positive effect that cell phones has had on society is by allowing communication on a global scale to actively grow now becoming more efficient. In the past the only way for people to communicate to friends or family who are far away or even just a few blocks away to set up activity's for the future, would be to use the postal service and write letters. Even though communication at a global scale becomes much more simpler. Trying to communicate properly to people who are even next to you has seen an increase in becoming much more difficult. Some people are starting to have a decay in there basic social skills, which is having a negative impact on society.

Some people are so used to texting and cell phone usage that they forget how to properly communicate with others and thus become socially awkward. I would agree that this is a con, but you're right that cell phones make life ultimately easier.
